Company Description Elara Childcare Therapy Centre Pvt. Ltd. is a specialized Childcare Therapy Centre and Daycare located in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, Bengaluru. The centre focuses on providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

Elara offers a range of therapeutic services including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and sensory activities. The team also supports children through Special Education, Daily Life Skills training, and School Readiness programs. In addition, Elara provides full-day daycare, integrating care and therapy to support holistic child development.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru for a Shadow Teacher / Behavioral Therapist. The role involves supporting children in classroom and therapy settings, closely observing their behaviors, and implementing individualized behavior plans.

The Shadow

Teacher / Behavioral Therapist will assist children with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines, providing one-on-one support as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with therapists, educators, and families, and adapting strategies to promote inclusion and independence.



The role also involves participating in team meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary planning, and maintaining a protected, responsive environment aligned with Elara’s child-centered approach.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in child behavior observation, behavior intervention, and classroom support.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams, and rapport-building with children.
- Candidates should possess skills in planning and implementing individualized learning and behavior support strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation, progress tracking, and maintaining clear, timely records.
- MASTERS IN PSYCHOLOGY IS A MUST.
- Prior experience working with children in therapy, special education, or inclusive classroom settings is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain patience, empathy, and professionalism in challenging situations and a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
- Willingness to learn and apply evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing training and supervision.
