ey Responsibilities
Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders (POs), and work orders as per project requirements.
Source and identify reliable suppliers and subcontractors for civil construction materials.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Purchase materials such as:
Cement, steel, sand, aggregates and RMC
Bricks, blocks and other masonry materials
Tiles, flooring and sanitary materials
Plumbing and electrical materials
Waterproofing and construction chemicals
Paints, hardware, safety materials and consumables
Tools, machinery and other site requirements
Coordinate with the Project, Site, Planning, Stores, Accounts, and QA/QC teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
Ensure materials are delivered to the project/site within the required schedule.
