Job title: DCS / Control Room Operator Work Location: Mumbai Reports to: Offshore Installation Manager : Responsible for monitoring and controlling offshore oil & gas production operations through the DCS/Control Room systems. Monitor process parameters, alarms, equipment status, and ensure secure and effective plant operation.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, and related control systems.
Monitor pressure, temperature, flow, level, and other process parameters.
Respond to alarms, trips, and abnormal operating conditions.
Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams.
Perform start-up, shutdown, and emergency operating procedures.
Maintain shift logs, production reports, and proper shift handovers.
Ensure compliance with company HSE and operational procedures.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
10+ years of Experience in Oil and Gas Industry
Relevant experience in offshore oil & gas/process operations.
DCS/Control Room operating experience preferred.
Valid BOSIET/FOET and offshore medical fitness. Positive communication, troubleshooting, and safety awareness.
