Key Responsibilities
Inspections and Testing: Perform daily site or plant inspections, conduct material testing (such as concrete slump or soil tests), and verify that all workmanship matches engineering drawings.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain calibration records, material certificates, inspection checklists, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when defects are found.
Process Improvement: Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), write quality control procedures, and lead root-cause analysis for any defects or project delays.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with project managers, external consultants, and third-party auditors to resolve quality issues and sign off on final handovers.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degreeDiploma in Civil Engineering
Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction quality control.
Soft Skills: Solid analytical problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and explicit written and verbal communication
