Picker, Packer, and Loader Roles & Responsibilities

Picker
Pick products/items from shelves or storage locations based on orders.
Check product codes, quantities, sizes, and specifications.
Use scanners or picking lists to identify items.
Inspect items for damage or defects.
Move picked items to the packing area.
Maintain accuracy and follow warehouse safety procedures.

Packer
Pack picked items according to company standards.
Select appropriate boxes, bags, or packaging materials.
Check quantities and product condition before packing.
Label packages correctly with order/shipping information.
Seal and prepare packages for dispatch.
Keep the packing area clean and organized.

Loader
Load packed goods onto trucks or delivery vehicles.




Arrange goods safely to prevent damage during transportation.
Verify shipment quantities and documents.
Handle loading equipment safely where required.
Secure goods properly inside vehicles.
Unload goods when assigned and maintain a protected loading area.

Common Responsibilities
Follow health and safety procedures.
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
Work cooperatively with warehouse and dispatch teams.
