Servicenow Developer - ITSM

Essential Job Functions

- Design, configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Implement and support ITSM processes including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Fulfillment
- Knowledge Management
- Service Catalog
- CMDB and Asset Management
- Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, catalog items, integrations, and custom applications.
- Configure Service Portal and self-service capabilities.
- Build and maintain platform integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and third-party APIs.
- Perform platform upgrades, patch management, and environment maintenance activities.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ServiceNow solutions.
- Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of IT Service Management experience with 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience, including leadership of ITSM transformation or service delivery initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow ITSM modules and capabilities.
- Expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer,



and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, and system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB design and configuration.
- Experience with Service Portal development and catalog management.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and service management processes.
- Experience defining and governing SLAs, OLAs, and operational KPIs.
- Ability to drive service improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience managing incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
