Role Description The Service Head Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, responsible for leading and managing the service operations for TRUWAY MACHINERY’s product portfolio. This role oversees field service activities, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of fiber laser and automation machinery at customer locations.

The Service Head

Engineer coordinates technical support, diagnoses complex issues, and ensures timely troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. Daily responsibilities include supervising service technicians, planning preventive maintenance schedules, handling service escalations, and maintaining service documentation and reports.



The role also involves collaborating with sales and production teams to address customer feedback, improve service processes, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with industrial machinery and laser systems.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including in office installation, commissioning, and customer-facing support.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote diagnostics, guiding junior engineers, and resolving complex service issues.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair expertise for preventive and corrective service on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics) is preferred.
- Prior experience in laser machinery, CNC equipment, or industrial automation service leadership is highly beneficial.
- Proven team management skills, ability to prioritize multiple service requests, and familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
