Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service General Manager to lead and manage end-to-end commercial vehicle service operations. The role involves driving workshop profitability, improving operational efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with OEM standards.

The ideal candidate should have robust leadership experience in commercial vehicle workshops, with a proven ability to manage service teams, achieve business targets, and deliver high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee complete workshop operations, ensuring service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive service revenue, labour sales, and workshop profitability targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including vehicle turnaround time (TAT), technician productivity, and first-time-fix rates.
- Lead and mentor Service Managers, Floor Incharges, Service Advisors, and technical teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand service business and improve customer retention.
- Ensure adherence to OEM processes, warranty guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly service performance reports and take corrective actions.
- Handle critical customer escalations and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers.
- Ensure implementation of safety standards, 5S practices, and workshop discipline.




- Coordinate with spare parts and sales departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize manpower utilization and continuously improve workshop efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in commercial vehicle service operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or workshop management role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle servicing, repair processes, and workshop operations.
- Experience with Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, BharatBenz, Eicher, Mahindra Trucks & Buses, or similar commercial vehicle brands is preferred.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
