Service Engineer –Fire Detection & Suppression Systems

Location: Hyderabad / Vijayawada

Territory: South India – Chennai, Telangana, Hyderabad, NMDC, Ramagundam and project sites

CTC: ₹4–6 LPA

About the Role

Maco Corporation is looking for a Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of Ansul Fire Detection & Suppression Systems (AFDSS) installed on Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) used in mining and industrial applications.

The role involves extensive field travel across South India and requires someone comfortable working at mining, construction and industrial project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Install Ansul AFDSS systems on HEMM, mining and construction equipment.
- Carry out system commissioning, testing and functional checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, detection and suppression-system faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance and periodic system health checks.
- Attend breakdown/service calls at customer and project sites.
- Coordinate with customers for installation, service and technical support.




- Prepare service reports and maintain relevant service documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, site safety procedures and applicable fire-safety standards.
- Support customer training and basic system-operation demonstrations when required.
- Travel extensively across South India based on project and customer requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in HEMM, mining equipment, industrial fire & safety systems, electrical/instrumentation or field service will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience servicing excavators, dumpers, loaders, dozers and other heavy equipment are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, sensors, control panels and troubleshooting.
- Strong field-service and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at remote mining/project locations.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and strong interest in field service may also be considered.
