Role Description The Senior Consultant VAPT role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves executing Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) engagements across networks, applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure for clients in multiple industries.

The Senior

Consultant will analyze security findings, prepare detailed technical and executive reports, and provide remediation guidance that aligns with client risk and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting hands-on testing using industry-standard tools, collaborating with internal and client teams to validate issues, supporting cybersecurity and risk advisory projects,



and contributing to the development of methodologies, playbooks, and best practices. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, participating in proposals and client presentations, and staying current with emerging threats, exploits, and security technologies.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in cybersecurity and VAPT, including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing methodologies, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with common security tools and platforms (e.g., network and web application scanners, exploit frameworks or security monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of networks, operating systems, web and mobile applications, cloud platforms, and common security architectures.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical findings, translate them into explicit risk-based recommendations, and prepare structured reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments, preferably with clients in regulated sectors such as BFSI, pharma, telecom, or government.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related experience; advanced security certifications (e.g., CEH, CRTP, CRTO, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Cyber event Speaker, Bug Bounty Hunter, Hall of Fames will be considered on priority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site with client teams, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high professional standards.
