About The Role

We are seeking a dependable and technically capable individual to join our team as a Website & SEO Technical Assistant. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with foundational computer and technical skills to develop their expertise in website management, SEO monitoring, content management, and plugin testing. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our websites, supporting SEO activities, and assisting with technical testing and troubleshooting.

This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn, grow their skills, and build a long-term career in website operations and digital technology.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of computer applications and a strong willingness to learn new skills. Educational backgrounds such as COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology, or relevant diplomas and certifications are highly encouraged. Candidates with prior experience in website management, SEO tools,



or technical troubleshooting will have an added advantage but are not mandatory.

Excellent written and spoken English skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential. Reliable internet access and a suitable computer for daily work are required to perform effectively in this role.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of website operations, SEO monitoring, content management, and technical testing tasks. These include:

- Monitoring website keyword rankings and search visibility to track SEO performance.
- Reviewing Google Search Console data to analyze indexing, impressions, and clicks.
- Tracking changes in search engine rankings and addressing significant fluctuations.
- Preparing regular SEO performance reports and maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
- Assisting in identifying pages that require updates or additional optimization efforts.
- Conducting basic keyword and competitor research to support SEO strategies.
- Adding, updating, and formatting website content within WordPress, including articles, pages, and internal links.
- Managing website pages, publishing schedules, and ensuring content displays correctly after publication.
- Optimizing and uploading images, making content updates, and adjusting titles and descriptions as needed.
- Creating and configuring WordPress websites using existing themes, menus, widgets, and settings.
- Installing, updating,



and troubleshooting WordPress plugins and themes to ensure website functionality.
- Performing routine website maintenance, troubleshooting common issues, and testing website updates.
- Assisting in testing new WordPress plugins and website features, documenting bugs, and reporting issues to the development team.

Most websites will utilize established themes and layouts, so professional web design experience is not required. The focus is on learning and applying technical skills related to website operations and SEO monitoring.
