Role in Brief

We are hiring an SEO Specialist with 1-2 years of experience to grow the search and AI-answer visibility of Trycon's product websites. You will handle technical, on-page and off-page SEO, and track how often our products are cited by AI engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

You will report to the Senior Growth Marketing Associate, who sets SEO/AEO direction, and work closely with our content team. This role grows through close mentorship and hands-on execution.

In your first 90 days, you will be expected to:

- Complete a technical SEO audit of the Scanova website and fix priority issues
- Set up a monthly AI-visibility tracking report
- Deliver a prune, redirect or rewrite plan for the existing Scanova blog library

Work Responsibilities

As an SEO Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

- Technical SEO: Running technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog (or equivalent) and resolving crawlability, indexability, redirect and structured data issues across our product websites

- On-Page Optimization: Maintaining titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking and schema across all pages

- Off-Page Authority: Building authority through backlink outreach, guest contributions, unlinked mention reclamation, third-party listicle placements and review platform listings (G2, Capterra)

- AI Visibility (AEO): Tracking brand citation and share of voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and similar engines every month, and applying AEO tactics such as FAQ schema and direct-answer formatting

- Research and Content Audits: Conducting keyword research, competitor analysis and content audits, and recommending prune, redirect or rewrite actions for existing pages

- Content Briefs and Quality Review: Writing structured content briefs and reviewing AI-generated drafts for accuracy and SEO/AEO standards before publishing

- Performance Reporting: Reporting on organic traffic, rankings,



AI citation share and review velocity using Google Search Console, GA4 and Excel/Google Sheets

- Publishing and Documentation: Publishing content on WordPress and Payload CMS, and documenting processes, playbooks and audit findings

What You Offer The ideal candidate must possess the following skills: (Non-negotiables)

- Hands-on experience with technical and on-page SEO, including robots.txt, canonical tags, 301/302 redirects, structured data, internal linking and search intent

- Working experience with Screaming Frog (or a similar crawler), Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console and GA4

- Hands-on exposure to AEO, with an understanding of how AI engines select and cite sources

- Experience publishing and editing content on WordPress or a similar CMS

- Regular use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) for research, drafting and analysis

- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to write transparent briefs and documentation

Good-to-have skills:

- 1 year or more of dedicated AEO work with measurable results

- Off-page experience in digital PR, journalist or HARO-style pitching, and broken-link or resource-page link building

- Experience getting a product listed on review platforms such as G2 or Capterra

- Familiarity with pillar and cluster content and basic CRO concepts

- Experience with structured prompting, saved workflows or AI agents for SEO tasks

- Exposure to Payload CMS or another headless CMS

- Education: Graduation in any discipline from a reputed institute

- Experience Required: 1-2 years of experience in SEO, including hands-on exposure to AEO
