Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end Workday technical configuration across Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Performance & Talent, Security, and Advanced Reporting.

- Design, build, maintain, and monitor Workday integrations, including EIBs, Workday Studio, and API/middleware-based data flows.

- Act as a Workday Solution Architect, assessing cross-module impact before configuration changes are approved and deployed.

- Create solution design documents, configuration rationale, and impact assessments for significant changes and new capabilities.

- Establish and maintain Workday configuration standards and best practices across modules.

- Translate business and people-related requirements into scalable, well-governed Workday technical solutions.

- Partner with IT, People/HR, Finance, and Information Security stakeholders to deliver effective Workday solutions.

- Review Workday enhancements and recommend improvements based on business requirements and operational needs.

- Lead biannual Workday release assessments and manage configuration change-control processes.

- Ensure configuration changes undergo appropriate impact analysis, testing, and approval before deployment.

- Troubleshoot integration issues,



identify root causes, and drive resolution with relevant technical and business stakeholders.

- Identify technical risks, configuration gaps, technical debt, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.

- Strong expertise in Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Performance & Talent.

- Strong experience in Advanced Compensation, complex reporting, Workday Security, and integrations.

- Hands-on expertise with EIB, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT, and security configuration.

- Experience with cross-module impact analysis, configuration governance, and Workday solution architecture.

- Workday Pro Certification is preferred.

- Exposure to ServiceNow, Okta, or Asana is desirable.

- Experience with global Workday environments, GDPR, SOX, or ISO 27001 is an advantage.

- Solid communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and ownership skills.

- Ability to proactively identify risks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities.
