About the Project: Finansh is a financial consulting and debt advisory firm. We are seeking an experienced individual WordPress developer to complete and launch our corporate website.
The project is already underway, with substantial work on a private staging environment. Business direction, content and technical inputs will be provided. Your responsibility will be to turn the existing work into a polished, reliable websitetaking ownership of implementation, troubleshooting and delivery.
This is a hands-on completion assignment, not a proposal for a fresh website or an unnecessary rebuild.
Your Responsibilities: Complete pending pages and functionality, refine layouts and mobile responsiveness, resolve code and theme/plugin issues, and ensure enquiry forms and email notifications work reliably.
The scope also includes performance improvements, basic technical SEO, testing, protected deployment and a documented handover. We expect clear progress updates, early identification of blockers and sensible decisions without step-by-step supervision.
Experience We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of substantive WordPress development, with verifiable project work from 2021 or earlier.
- Custom plugin development experience: You must have personally built or substantially extended a WordPress plugin and be able to explain your code and technical decisions.
- Strong PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with practical knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, APIs, secure coding and debugging.
- Experience with staging,
Git, backups and deployment, together with an eye for typography, spacing and responsive design.
Page-builder experience is useful but is not a substitute for development expertise. We are hiring the individual who will personally perform the work, not an intermediary. AI tools are welcome. You remain responsible for understanding, validating and maintaining everything you deliver.

1. A short website walkthrough
Visit finansh.in and record a 23 minute screen walkthrough with your own narration. Show a page at desktop or mobile widths, identify one specific issue or improvement, and explain how you would investigate it.
No webcam, editing, coding or detailed audit is required. Keep the effort to around 2-3 minutes; inspect public pages only.
2. Evidence of your development work
Share 2–3 projects with dates and your exact contribution. Include one custom plugin example: what it does, what you developed and one technical decision you made.
3. Availability and indicative rates
State your earliest start date, weekly availability, current commitments.
Selection and Commercials: Shortlisted candidates will discuss their submitted work in a live technical walkthrough and complete a short paid practical task.
The public-site review is for screening only. A final fee and timeline will be agreed after reviewing staging and the remaining scope, with clear deliverables and milestone-based payments.
Shortlisting requires the complete email submission; applying through Naukri alone won't be sufficient.
