Key Responsibilities:-

1. Transmission Line Survey

- Conduct route alignment and reconnaissance surveys for transmission lines.
- Carry out tower spotting and profiling as per approved alignment and design.
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, and control points.
- Conduct longitudinal and cross-sectional surveys of transmission line routes.
- Carry out surveys for tower foundation locations and verify coordinates.
- Check tower centerline, tower locations, span lengths, and angles.
- Verify Right of Way (ROW), road crossings, railway crossings, river crossings, and other important locations.
- Assist the engineering team in identifying discrepancies between actual site conditions and approved drawings.
- Carry out foundation level and excavation measurements.
- Provide survey data required for tower erection and stringing activities.

1. Substation Survey

- Carry out detailed surveys for substation layout and civil works.
- Establish grid lines, coordinates, benchmarks, and reference levels.
- Set out locations for:
- Transformer foundations
- Gantry structures
- Equipment foundations
- Control room buildings
- Cable trenches
- Roads and drains
- Switchyard structures
- Fencing and other civil structures
- Check excavation levels, foundation dimensions, plinth levels, and finished levels.
- Ensure accurate positioning of electrical equipment and structures as per approved drawings.
- Conduct as-built surveys after completion of construction activities.

1. Survey Equipment & Instruments

- Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as:
- Total Station
- Auto Level / Digital Level
- GPS/GNSS Survey Equipment
- Theodolite
- Measuring instruments
- Ensure proper calibration and accuracy of survey instruments.
- Maintain survey equipment records and ensure safe handling of instruments.

1. Drawing & Documentation

- Read and interpret survey drawings, alignment drawings, plan/profile drawings, foundation drawings, and substation layout drawings.
- Prepare survey reports, field books, level books, coordinate sheets, and measurement records.




- Maintain accurate records of coordinates, RLs, chainages, offsets, and levels.
- Prepare and verify as-built drawings and survey data.
- Submit daily/weekly survey reports to the Project Manager/Project In-Charge.

1. Construction Support

- Work closely with civil, electrical, erection, and project execution teams.
- Provide survey support for excavation, foundation, structure erection, equipment installation, and other construction activities.
- Check contractor/subcontractor survey work and measurements.
- Identify and report any deviations from approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist the Project Manager in resolving site-level technical and alignment issues.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
- Relevant experience in transmission line and substation projects.
- Valuable knowledge of surveying techniques and construction practices.
- Experience with Total Station, Auto Level and GPS/GNSS.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and preparation/interpretation of survey drawings is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
