As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our Inspection Services team. This is an excellent prospect for a technically competent professional with expertise in pressure equipment, industrial inspections, and compliance assessments who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

About the Role

As a Senior Surveyor, you will perform inspections and assessments of engineering assets throughout the design, manufacturing, and operational lifecycle, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients while helping maintain LRQA's reputation for excellence in assurance and inspection services.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct technical inspections and assessments against defined scopes, specifications, and industry standards.
- Review manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering documentation to verify compliance.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality inspection reports, certificates, and technical documentation.
- Present inspection findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Support and review the work of colleagues when required.
- Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.




- Identify opportunities for additional services within existing and prospective client accounts.
- Ensure all activities comply with LRQA procedures, accreditation requirements, legislation, and industry standards.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and professional integrity.

What We're Looking For

# Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience in inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, fabrication, pressure equipment, or related engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and inspection requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

# Highly Desirable
- ASME Authorized Inspector (AI) qualification.
- IBR Competent Person certification.
- Additional trade, technical, vocational, or inspection-related certifications.
- Membership of a recognized professional engineering institution.
