Role Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer P2 with 35 years of experience to design implement and manage CICD pipelines for Salesforce delivery The role requires handson expertise in Azure DevOps SFDX and Jenkins along with robust knowledge of Salesforce release management branching strategies and deployment automation You will work closely with Salesforce developers QA and product teams to ensure fast reliable and secure releases across environments

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain CICD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Azure DevOps andor Jenkins

Implement automated deployments using SFDX CLI including metadata packaging validation and promotions across environments

Define and enforce branching strategies GitFlow trunkbased and support code integration best practices

Automate build test code scan and deployment workflows for Salesforce Apex LWC metadata

Manage environment strategy Dev SIT UAT PreProd Prod and deployment approvalsgates

Implement deployment controls such as change validation rollback plans versioning and audit logs

Integrate pipelines with qualitysecurity checks eg static code analysis test coverage checks vulnerability scans

Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot deployment failures conflicts permission issues and tooling gaps

Coordinate with teams to improve release cadence and reduce deployment risk through automation and standardization

Maintain documentation for pipeline setup release process and DevOps runbooks

Mandatory Skills Must Have

Salesforce DevOps Release Management 35 years overall experience with Salesforce delivery automation





Azure DevOps Handson experience in Repos Pipelines Boards optional Artifacts optional

SFDX Strong experience with SFDX CLI source tracking scratch orgs good to have packaging concepts

Jenkins Experience building CICD pipelines declarativescripted managing agents credentials and plugins

Git Version Control Strong understanding of branchingmerging pull requests code reviews conflict resolution

Salesforce Deployment Knowledge Metadata change sets basic Salesforce DX source format orgtoorg deployments

Basic scripting ability in ShellPowerShell or Python to automate repeatable tasks

Good To Have Preferred

Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado Gearset Flosum optional

Knowledge of Salesforce packaging Unlocked Packages 2GP and modular deployment strategy

Experience integrating pipelines with SonarQube PMD ESLint security scanning tools test automation

Understanding of Salesforce testing standards Apex unit tests test data strategy test coverage gates

Familiarity with ServiceNowJira integration for change management approvals

Exposure to infrastructure concepts secrets management certificates OAuthJWT authentication for Salesforce

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in EngineeringComputer Science or equivalent experience

Strong communication skills to coordinate with crossfunctional teams Dev QA Release Product
