Location: Bangalore for the first 6 months, followed by posting in Germany

Role Overview

We are looking for strong Senior Software Engineers, Tech Leads, Principal Engineers or hands-on Technical/Solution Architects with deep Golang expertise and a strong product-engineering mindset.

The selected candidate will initially work from Bangalore for approximately 6 months, during which they will integrate with the engineering team, understand the product architecture, technology environment and business requirements. Following this initial stint, the candidate will be posted in Germany and continue working with the international engineering and product teams.

The candidate does not need to currently hold an Architect designation. Strong Senior Software Engineers, Principal Engineers or Tech Leads who independently design and build product features and services from scratch are encouraged to apply.

The role requires someone who can work independently, understand requirements, make technical decisions and take ownership of solutions from design through implementation.

Key ResponsibilitiesGolang Backend Engineering

- Design, develop and maintain production-grade backend services using Golang.
- Build scalable, secure and resilient backend applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations.
- Participate in coding, debugging, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
- Follow clean coding, automated testing and engineering best practices.

Product Development & Feature Ownership

- Independently understand and analyse product and business requirements.
- Take ownership of product features from requirement gathering through design, development, testing and implementation.
- Design and develop new product capabilities from scratch.




- Demonstrate hands-on ownership of at least 2–3 significant product features/modules delivered end-to-end.
- Work closely with product, engineering and other stakeholders.
- Clearly explain technical decisions and why specific technologies, patterns or approaches were selected.

Architecture & System Design
- Contribute to the architecture of scalable SaaS platforms.
- Design and develop distributed systems and microservices.
- Work on API-first and event-driven architectures.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles.
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
- Improve scalability, reliability, security and maintainability.

Database & Platform Engineering

- Work with MongoDB and/or other NoSQL databases.

Independent Technical Ownership

- Work independently without requiring continuous guidance from a Tech Lead or Architect.
- Participate in requirement gathering and technical discussions.
- Conduct technical deep dives into existing and new systems.
- Explain architecture, implementation decisions and technical trade-offs clearly.
- Mentor or guide other engineers where required.
- Take ownership of engineering quality, scalability and maintainability.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must have

- Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on Golang development experience.
- Strong experience working in SaaS or product-based companies, preferably around 4 years.
- Strong hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Experience designing and implementing product features from scratch.
- Ability to demonstrate at least 2–3 substantial features/modules developed end-to-end.




- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong REST API/backend development experience.
- Good system-design fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to clearly walk through previous projects, features, architecture and individual contribution.
- Ability to explain what technologies were used, why they were selected and the technical trade-offs involved.
- Full time B.E./B.Tech or equivalent engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication or a closely related discipline.
- Willingness to work from Bangalore for the first 6 months.

Willingness to subsequently relocate to Germany for the role.

Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year
