We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to complete and harden a CLMS & L&D; Tool . You will work across the React frontend, Node.js/TypeScript/Express backend, PostgreSQL data model, assessment and qualification workflows, background processing, integrations, testing, and cloud deployment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning a product across the stack and can convert detailed product requirements and Figma screens into robust, maintainable software.

The successful candidate will preserve the existing product direction and working vertical slice while systematically completing the missing capabilities.

You will extend the existing Node.js and TypeScript modular monolith rather than migrate it to .NET or replace the product with an unrelated architecture. Your work will include the following responsibilities :

- Product and workflow delivery
- Backend and data engineering
- Integrations and background processing
- Frontend engineering

Candidates must demonstrate strong professional experience in most or all of the following areas: • Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Express or a comparable modular Node.js framework, REST API design, asynchronous programming, validation, error handling, and secure API development.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern state and data-fetching patterns, forms, routing, component design, accessibility, and responsive UI implementation from Figma.

• Database: PostgreSQL, relational modelling, constraints, indexes, transactions, query performance, migrations, reporting queries, and safe data evolution.

• Authentication and security: OIDC or OAuth2, JWT/JWKS concepts, session security,



RBAC, tenant isolation, rate limiting, OWASP practices, file-upload security, and secrets management.

• Workflow systems: Experience implementing configurable state machines, approvals, eligibility rules, retries or retests, audit trails, notifications, or other multi-step business processes.

• Testing: Jest or Vitest, API/integration testing, React Testing Library or equivalent, and Playwright or Cypress for browser automation.

• Cloud and delivery: Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD, environment management, Linux, Git, production troubleshooting, and deployment to a cloud platform such as Render, AWS, Azure, or GCP. 3

• Engineering quality: Clean architecture, code review, documentation, debugging, observability, performance awareness, and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs without accumulating avoidable technical debt.

• Product collaboration: Ability to read detailed product specifications and Figma prototypes, challenge unclear requirements constructively, communicate progress, and deliver independently in a changing product workplace.
