About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer - GenAI to join our engineering team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), along with expertise in building and deploying scalable AI solutions on AWS.

You will work on designing and developing production-grade GenAI applications, intelligent systems, and cloud-native solutions while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications and intelligent solutions using Python and modern AI/ML technologies.
- Build and optimize LLM-powered applications, workflows, and services for enterprise use cases.
- Design and implement RAG-based systems for knowledge retrieval, contextual generation, and intelligent search.
- Integrate and work with foundation models and Amazon Bedrock to build scalable GenAI applications.
- Develop robust backend services and APIs using Python.
- Design cloud-native and serverless architectures using AWS services.
- Work extensively with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- Develop data pipelines and retrieval workflows to support RAG and LLM-based applications.
- Implement prompt engineering, context management, model evaluation, and optimization techniques.
- Build monitoring, logging, and observability mechanisms for AI applications using Amazon CloudWatch.
- Design scalable and reliable production architectures for GenAI workloads.




- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, reliability, latency, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, architecture decisions, and technical documentation.
- Stay current with emerging developments in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and cloud-based AI platforms.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, ML engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Practical experience designing and implementing RAG architectures and applications.
- Experience with LLM APIs, foundation models, prompt engineering, and model integration.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock or similar managed GenAI platforms.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, particularly: AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building and deploying scalable, production-grade AI applications.
- Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, debugging, and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:

- B. Tech / B. E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related engineering discipline.
- Graduates from Tier-1 engineering institutes preferred.
