Hiring for a SaaS product-based company looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of a technical area — from planning and system design to development, production support, quality, and mentoring.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will write and review code, design scalable systems, solve complex production problems, and help the team deliver predictably.

What You’ll Own

Planning: Translate product goals into technical milestones, HLDs/LLDs, dependencies, and delivery plans -

Platform: Build and scale reliable, high-throughput systems powering the SaaS platform -

Delivery: Own sprint planning, commitments, release readiness, testing, and risks

Solutioning: Design and build major/high-risk components while balancing MVP scope and maintainability

Quality: Maintain high standards for correctness, security, performance, reliability, and testing

Mentorship: Coach 3–4 SDE-I engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design discussions

Production Health: Own monitoring, alerts, dashboards, runbooks,



incident response, data correctness, and security

Productivity: Leverage AI-assisted development tools for research, task breakdown, and edge-case discovery.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of experience building and operating production software

Strong expertise in Java / Spring Boot

Strong understanding of SQL and relational database modelling

Good system design skills and ability to explain technical trade-offs

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in live production environments

Ability to write explicit and structured technical documentation

Calm, structured communication and a proactive approach to identifying risks

Experience with AI-assisted development tools and an AI-native engineering mindset
