Role Description The Senior Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites in Mumbai in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include supervising civil engineering works, coordinating with contractors and site teams, and ensuring that construction is executed according to structural drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. The role involves monitoring quality control procedures, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction.

The Senior Site

Engineer will prepare and review site reports, maintain documentation of progress, and communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients on timelines and resource requirements.



This position also requires proactive identification of risks, support in planning work schedules, and guidance to junior engineers and site staff.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid on-site supervision skills, with proven experience managing construction activities directly at the project location.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess expertise in quality control, including implementing standards, inspecting work, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety norms.
- Candidates should possess solid structural engineering knowledge to interpret drawings, validate designs, and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Candidates should possess a background as civil engineers, with a degree or diploma in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with project planning and scheduling, familiarity with construction codes and regulations, and proficiency in site-related software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Ability to lead site teams, make timely decisions, and work under project deadlines; prior experience as a site or senior site engineer on building or infrastructure projects in urban areas is highly preferred.
