Role Description The Senior Social Media Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading Superfan.ng’s social media presence across key platforms. This role involves planning and executing social media strategies, creating and publishing culturally resonant content, and managing the content calendar.

The Specialist will monitor performance analytics, optimize campaigns, and engage daily with the online community to grow brand awareness and user engagement. They will collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to align social initiatives with broader digital marketing goals and support major launches, campaigns, and partnerships.

Qualifications





- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Marketing to develop and execute platform-specific strategies.
- Proficiency in Social Media Content Creation to produce engaging posts, short-form videos, and visual assets.
- Experience in Digital Marketing to integrate social media with broader online campaigns and performance tracking.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and community management.
- Proven experience managing social media for consumer-facing brands or apps, ideally in edtech or culture-focused products.
- Ability to interpret social analytics, use data-driven insights, and work with social media management tools.
- Solid understanding of African cultures and diaspora audiences; ability to create inclusive, respectful content.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
