Manic Media is looking for an experienced Shopify Plus Developer to join our growing development team. We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on Shopify experience who can independently handle development tasks, troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions.

You’ll work on Shopify and Shopify Plus projects for international clients and D2C brands, including custom theme development, app integrations, APIs, performance optimization and custom functionality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.
- Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Develop custom sections, features, and functionality based on project requirements.
- Work with Shopify APIs, REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Build and maintain custom Shopify applications using React.js and Node.js.
- Work with Shopify Plus features such as Shopify Functions and Cart Transform API.
- Troubleshoot theme, app, checkout, integration, and performance-related issues.
- Optimize stores for performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Handle testing, deployment, and production updates.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain clean and reusable code.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers when required.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
- Use AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT to improve development efficiency.
- Collaborate with project manager and developers to deliver projects on time.

Requirements

- 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, Shopify Plus, Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with React.js, Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL and webhooks.
- Good understanding of Shopify theme architecture and app integrations.




- Experience with Git and version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable understanding of responsive development and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to independently handle development tasks and take ownership.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills are mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a company environment and meet project timelines.
- Candidates from Coimbatore or nearby locations are preferred.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
- This is a full-time, work-from-office position in Coimbatore.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Experience with Shopify Functions and Shopify Plus features.
- Experience developing custom Shopify apps.
- Knowledge of checkout customization and Shopify CLI.
- Experience working with metafields and metaobjects.
- Strong understanding of Shopify performance optimization.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
