Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Senior School Math and Applied Math Educator. The educator will plan and deliver engaging math and applied math lessons for secondary and senior secondary grades, aligned with Ekya’s in-house curriculum and applicable board requirements.

Responsibilities include designing learning experiences that promote conceptual understanding, problem-solving, real-world application, and critical thinking, as well as preparing lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources. The role involves monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, supporting diverse learning needs,



and maintaining accurate academic records. The educator will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in professional learning initiatives, communicate with families about student growth, and contribute to school events and co-scholastic activities.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in secondary and senior secondary Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, with the ability to connect concepts to real-world contexts.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering student-centered, activity-based lessons that foster inquiry, reasoning, and problem-solving.
- Experience with developing and using assessments, rubrics, and feedback strategies to track and support student learning.
- Ability to integrate technology and digital tools into math instruction to enhance engagement and understanding.
- Effective classroom management, with skills in supporting diverse learners and creating an inclusive, safe learning environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and interdisciplinary teaching teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching senior school mathematics in CBSE, ICSE, or IGCSE curricula is highly beneficial.
