Role & responsibilities
Identify and understand customer requirements through client visits, discussions and RFQs.
Prepare technical proposals, techno-commercial offers and project costing.
Develop and submit accurate, first-time-right proposals within 2 working days.
Prepare BOQ, estimation and equipment-wise costing.
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to obtain technical details, quotations and timely inputs.
Build and maintain a reliable supplier/vendor database for faster proposal preparation and costing.
Evaluate vendor quotations and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchase and Project teams.
Study customer specifications, drawings, tender documents and scope requirements.
Handle multiple proposals while maintaining accuracy, quality and submission timelines.




Support technical clarifications and proposal-related discussions with customers.

Preferred candidate profile
35 years of relevant experience in Proposal Engineering, Estimation, Costing, Tendering or Technical Sales Support.
Experience in EPC, industrial equipment, engineering or manufacturing projects preferred.
Exposure to Air Pollution Control / Dust Collection / Industrial Ventilation will be an advantage.
Robust MS Excel and costing skills.
Valuable understanding of BOQ, estimation and vendor quotations.
Solid communication, coordination and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work within tight deadlines.
Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
