Role & responsibilities:

Job Summary

The Store Staff shall be responsible for assisting in day-to-day store activities including inward and outward material handling, stock maintenance, material issuance, SAP / ERP entries, and store housekeeping. The candidate should have experience in handling engineering materials and consumables used in machine tool manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities
Receive and check incoming materials against delivery challans and purchase orders.
Assist in unloading, counting, and storing materials properly.
Issue materials to fabrication, machine shop, assembly, and maintenance departments against authorized requisitions.
Maintain stock records and update inward-outward entries in SAP/ ERP/ software/ registers.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and arrangement of materials in store.
Handle engineering items such as fasteners, bearings, motors, cutting tools, fabrication materials, electrical items, hydraulic & pneumatic components,



and consumables.
Support periodic stock verification and physical inventory activities.
Inform seniors regarding shortages, damaged items, or stock mismatches.
Maintain store cleanliness, discipline, and secure material handling practices.
Coordinate with purchase, production, quality, and dispatch departments for smooth material flow.

• Maintain gate pass and material movement records whenever required. Outline the day-to-day responsibilities for this role.

Preferred candidate profile:

Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of engineering store operations.
Familiarity with machine tool industry materials and components.
Knowledge of SAP/ ERP/software and MS Excel.
Positive record-keeping and documentation skills.
