Contrans Group is an international freight forwarding & logistics company providing Sea Freight, Air Freight, Customs Clearance, Door-to-Door Logistics, Groupage, Storage & Distribution, DDU/DDP and Project Cargo solutions across major international markets.

Job Purpose To generate new B2B business, acquire and develop customers, manage sales through inside sales and field visits, and build long-term client relationships while achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and generate new B2B business opportunities through calls, emails, WhatsApp, references, market research and field visits.
- Develop new leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Contact potential clients and understand their import, export and logistics requirements.
- Conduct client meetings and make regular field visits for business development.
- Promote suitable freight forwarding and logistics solutions based on customer requirements.




- Prepare quotations in coordination with the Pricing and Operations teams and follow up for conversion.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships and generate repeat business.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer service and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client visits, enquiries, quotations, follow-ups and conversions.
- Negotiate with customers and effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and business development targets.

Candidates Profile:

- MBA/ PGDM holder with valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3-5 years in core freight forwarding, preferably in sales, marketing, operations, or customer support.
- Confident, presentable and comfortable communicating with clients through phone, email and face-to-face meetings.
- Good command of Hindi and English.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, follow-up and customer-handling skills.
