Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor / QS Team Leader

Experience: 7–10 Years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

International Project Experience

Experience in international civil/construction projects involving clients or projects in:

- Australia
- Canada
- UK
- USA
- UAE

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying & Estimation

- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, tender estimates, and rate analysis.
- Review civil drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
- Prepare material, labour, subcontractor, and overall project cost estimates.
- Identify quantity discrepancies, scope gaps, and commercial risks.
- Support cost control, variations, and change-order assessments.
- Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within project deadlines.

- Team Handling & Leadership

- Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and Estimators.
- Allocate work and monitor team performance and project deliverables.
- Review and approve team members’ BOQs, takeoffs, and estimates.
- Train, mentor, and support junior and mid-level QS team members.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of all QS deliverables.

Client Coordination

- Coordinate directly with international clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Handle client queries, clarifications, drawing revisions,



and commercial requirements.
- Participate in client meetings and project review discussions.
- Maintain robust professional relationships with international clients.
- Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to the QS/estimation team.

Project & Commercial Coordination

- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Commercial teams.
- Review project scope, variations, additional works, and changes.
- Support tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7–10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying / Civil Estimation.
- Civil Engineering degree is mandatory.
- Strong experience in international civil/construction projects.
- Experience with Australia, Canada, UK, USA, or UAE projects/clients.
- Proven experience in team handling and leadership.
- Strong international client coordination and communication skills.
