1. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial / production engineering.

Postgraduate qualification in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Project

Management, or Industrial Engineering desirable

Certification in Project Management, Supply Chain, APICS/CSCP, Lean, Six Sigma or Risk

Management would be an advantage.

Experience in Supplier Development function

Minimum 8 to 12 years experience (experience in power equipment, transformers,

switchgear, electrical components, heavy fabrication, castings, forgings, machined components, cables or other engineered products would be desirable)

3+ years in Supplier Management / Supplier Quality / Technical Expediting / Project

Expediting / Manufacturing Operations / Supply Chain.

Experience in Capacity planning/assessment required.

Knowledge & Competencies

Knowledge in capacity assessment and constraint management

Strong project management skills and problem-solving abilities

Flexible and willing to work in a matrix organisation structure

Proven experience in supplier site visits and progress verification.

Experience monitoring capacity expansion, new production lines, tooling, machinery,

manpower and infrastructure ramp-up.

Experience with Gantt charts, project schedules, milestones and action-plan tracking.

Experience in risk identification, mitigation planning and escalation.

Experience in supplier procurement and Tier-2/sub-tier management.

Ability to interact with Supplier Management, Production, Engineering, Procurement,

Quality and SCM teams.

Soft Skills

Capable to work in team and independently too





Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports and presentations

Prompt in planning, review & reporting

2. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Professional that will essentially be responsible to manage

Capacity Reservation Agreement (CRA) execution booked vs. installed vs. delivered capacity against signed CRAs.

3. Ramp-up/Infrastructure execution monitoring readiness for current and current parts (capex, tooling, labor, allocation).

Example: Gantt Chart. Validate progress at Supplier site

4. Operational risk mitigation manufacturing execution and supply continuity. Example: Periodic assessments at Supplier to validate mitigation actions implementation

5. Sub-tier / Tier-2 visibility raw-material and external-manufacturing capacity below Tier-1.

Example: Audit Supplier Procurement process to assure that Subtiers are properly

Managed

6. POSITION FUNCTIONS

Technical Supplier Shop Expediting

It is necessary to visit the Supplier factory about monthly or biweekly to observe if the production capacity increasing or new factory/production line implementation is proceeding according to the schedule plan (Gantt chart).





Problems need to be proactively checked and resolved to deal with them before they occur. (To avoid any production delays)- Risk Mitigation plan execution

It is necessary to understand technical inquiries from vendors, correctly communicate/report to Customer Category Manager and Supplier Quality Engineers,

and respond to vendors.

Eventually, if a high risk is identified at the sub-tier, the same scope above needs to be applied

Desk Expediting Communicate with Customer SCM team (Category Managers, Buyers, and Supplier

Quality engineers)

Follow up on the capacity increase plan and fabrication schedule (biweekly reports)

Manage regular online meetings
