Performance and Load Testing:

- Conduct performance testing to ensure that financial ERP applications can handle high traffic and large amounts of data.
- Perform load, stress, and scalability tests to assess system behavior under different conditions. Issue Reporting and Defect Tracking:
- Log and track defects in defect tracking tools and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work with developers to verify fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issues are properly addressed.

Test Documentation and Reporting:

- Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as test execution reports.
- Report test results, issues, and progress regularly to the QA manager and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all tests performed, including test case execution results and defect resolution statuses.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in software testing and quality assurance.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize testing procedures and improve overall software quality.

User Experience Testing:

- Evaluate user interfaces for usability and adherence to industry standards, especially for customer-facing applications.




- Ensure that the customer experience aligns with NBFC standards for ease of use, functionality, and security.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience

6-11 years of experience

Technical/Specific Skills

- 6-11 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on the financial services or NBFC industry.
- Experience with manual and automated testing processes
- Testing Tools Proficiency: Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla), and performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) is added advantage
- Knowledge of Financial Products: Understanding of financial products and services offered by NBFCs, such as loans, investments, and payments is preferred.
- Ability to spot issues or defects in complex financial applications and ensure the highest levels of quality
- Solid ability to analyze software functionality and performance, identify potential issues, and propose solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to document findings and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
