Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of QA strategy, automation, and quality outcomes across projects. This is a leadership-oriented role for someone who can build scalable testing frameworks, mentor QA engineers, drive automation initiatives, and introduce modern AI-enabled testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Own QA strategy, quality standards, KPIs, and release quality for assigned projects.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of QA engineers.
- Design and scale automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Drive mobile automation using Appium and WebdriverIO.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.
- Conduct and oversee performance, load, and security testing.
- Lead QA POCs for new tools, frameworks, and testing approaches.
- Implement AI-driven QA practices for test generation, defect analysis, flaky-test detection, and coverage improvement.
- Identify and resolve flaky tests while maintaining reliable automation suites.
- Review test strategies, automation code, and quality decisions across the team.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, engineering leads, and clients.
- Drive continuous improvement through QA metrics, retrospectives, and process optimization.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QE, with proven experience in QA leadership or team management.




- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong experience in mobile automation using Appium and WebdriverIO.
- Experience designing or significantly contributing to automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of BDD, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD integration and automated quality gates.
- Hands-on knowledge of performance and load testing.
- Understanding of security testing and related tools.
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently own QA strategy and drive quality initiatives with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-driven QA tools and agentic testing workflows.
- Exposure to Playwright MCP / Model Context Protocols.
- Experience with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, k6, or JMeter.
- Experience with database testing and automation at scale.
- Experience in client-facing or technology consulting environments.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
