About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Data Engineer with strong backend development expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data connectors and integration pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python development, API integrations, ETL/ELT frameworks, cloud technologies, and connector lifecycle management. You will play a key role in enabling marketing measurement, analytics, client onboarding, and enterprise data integration initiatives while working closely with product teams, data strategists, and client stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain reusable data connectors for CRM platforms, advertising systems, POS applications, client systems, and third-party APIs.
- Build scalable and reliable data ingestion pipelines and integration frameworks.
- Own the complete lifecycle of data connectors, including development, versioning, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop robust integrations using REST APIs, OAuth authentication, API Keys, pagination, and rate-limiting mechanisms.
- Manage schema evolution, data mapping, transformation, and backward compatibility requirements.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for processing and integrating large volumes of data.
- Ensure production readiness through logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Strategists, Product Managers, Client Technical Teams, and business stakeholders to onboard and integrate client data sources.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide scalable technical solutions.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.




- Implement observability frameworks using monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
- Follow engineering best practices related to security, deployment automation, documentation, testing, and code quality.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to platform modernization initiatives.
- Support production environments and ensure smooth operation of business-critical data pipelines and integrations.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Backend Development, and Data Integration projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python development and backend engineering.
- Extensive experience working with REST APIs, OAuth authentication, API Key management, pagination, and rate limiting.
- Proven experience building and supporting enterprise-grade data connectors and integration platforms.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT development, data ingestion frameworks, and data processing solutions.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, transformation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of connector lifecycle management and Git-based version control practices.
- Knowledge of schema evolution, metadata management, data mapping, and backward compatibility principles.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog, ELK Stack, Grafana, or similar tools.




- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client integrations and deliver solutions within defined timelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability.
