Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Take overall responsibility for execution of large-scale interior fit-out / turnkey projects from mobilization to completion and handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective action for delays.
- Identify project risks, constraints and critical activities and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure timely completion of projects as per contractual commitments.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and monitor overall project performance.

Team Leadership
- Lead and manage Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, QS/Billing, QA/QC and Safety teams.
- Plan manpower and resources across project activities.
- Monitor team performance and ensure accountability for deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior project management and site teams.
- Coordinate effectively between Projects, Design, Procurement, QS, Accounts and Management.

Client, PMC & Consultant Management
- Act as the senior point of contact for clients, consultants, architects and PMCs.
- Lead client and consultant meetings and present project progress.
- Manage shop drawing approvals, material approvals, mock-ups, RFIs, inspections and technical clarifications.
- Resolve project escalations and ensure timely closure of client/consultant observations.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Commercial & Cost Management
- Take responsibility for project commercial performance and cost control.
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, variations and potential cost overruns.
- Coordinate with QS/Billing teams for measurements,



RA bills, variations and final billing.
- Review additional works and variation claims.
- Coordinate with management on commercial negotiations and project profitability.
- Identify opportunities to minimize wastage, rework and unnecessary project costs.

Procurement & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of project materials.
- Review procurement schedules and identify long-lead and critical materials.
- Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure timely mobilization of subcontractors and resources.
- Support negotiations with key vendors/subcontractors where required.

Quality Management
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and quality documentation.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure timely closure of defects and snags.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, interior, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting and other services.
- Minimize rework through effective planning and coordination.

Safety & HSE
- Ensure strict implementation of project HSE requirements.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures by employees, subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure proper PPE, work-at-height safety, scaffolding safety and housekeeping.




- Coordinate with the Safety Officer and Project Head regarding safety observations and incidents.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Project Documentation & Reporting
- Review and maintain project schedules, DPRs, MOMs, trackers and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of drawings, approvals, RFIs, material submissions and project correspondence.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project performance reports for management.
- Track project KPIs including progress, cost, quality, safety, manpower, procurement and billing.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- PMP / equivalent project management certification will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 914 years of relevant experience in project management and execution.
- Strong experience in commercial interior fit-outs, hospitality, healthcare, residential, corporate or turnkey projects.
- Should have experience independently managing large projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in managing projects from pre-construction / mobilization through handover will be preferred.

The candidate should have strong ownership, decision-making and problem-solving abilities and be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders on fast-paced interior projects.
