We are looking for project engineers to develop detailed models of the HVDC links and STATCOMs in the Indian transmission grid — thyristor-based HVDC, MMC-based VSC HVDC and CHB-based STATCOM — in PSCAD/EMTDC and PSS/E, and validate it against the actual field response.
Project Associate / Senior Project Associate.
Three posts, three to four years, ₹40,000 to ₹90,000 per month. There are no fixed slabs; the salary is decided based on your skill set and performance
Prior Knowledge of PSCAD/PSSE is not required
B.Tech in Electrical or M.Tech in Power Electronics. CGPA 8.0 or above from a CFTI, or CGPA 8.0 or above with a valid GATE (EE) score from other institutions.
Candidates who wish to pursue a PhD or MS(R) at IIT Kanpur will be given preference. Selection to the programme is as per Institute rules.
