Job Purpose

Lead the acquisition and on boarding of companies for equity, debt, REIT and InvIT in the Exchange. Drive issuer engagement, market expansion, ecosystem partnerships, and revenue growth while strengthening the Exchange's position as the preferred listing destination.
Business Development & Issuer Acquisition

Develop and execute the overall listing acquisition strategy, Build a strong pipeline of companies across Main Board, SME, Start-up, Debt and other listing segments, Identify and engage promoter groups, founders, private equity-backed companies and emerging enterprises, Drive listing mandates and convert prospects into listed issuers.

Performance parameters

Number of current listings acquired

IPO/SME IPO mandates won

Listing fee and related revenue generated
Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with:
Investment bankers
Merchant bankers
Private equity and venture capital funds
Corporate advisors
Industry associations

Act as the senior point of contact for prospective issuers and key ecosystem participants.

Performance Parameters:

Quality and depth of issuer pipeline

Customer satisfaction and issuer retention
Strategic Partnerships





Design outreach programs to increase awareness of capital market fundraising prospects. Collaborate with government agencies and regulatory stakeholders where relevant.

Establish partnerships with industry bodies, chambers of commerce, incubators, accelerators and start up ecosystems.
Market Development

Track IPO, SME IPO, debt issuance and capital market trends.

Identify recent industry sectors and high-growth companies for potential listings.

Gather market intelligence on what is happening on the listing space in other exchanges and also overall industry

Leadership & Team Management

Build and lead a high-performing business development team.

Set KPIs, monitor performance and drive accountability.

Coach and mentor team members in relationship management and capital-market sales.
Stakeholder Engagement

Represent the Exchange at industry forums, conferences, roadshows and investor events.

Act as a brand ambassador for the Exchange among corporates and intermediaries.
