Role Purpose
Lead the strategy, lifecycle, commercial performance, and service evolution of the Managed Network Services portfolio for the Digital Business. The role requires a senior networking professional who combines strong hands-on exposure to service-provider networks with an excellent understanding of enterprise network environments, customer-facing solution engineering, and end-to-end product and services management.
Portfolio Scope
- Managed WAN and hybrid connectivity: MPLS, Internet, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity and related access services.
- Secure networking and SASE: security service edge, firewalls, segmentation, zero-trust access and secure branch solutions.
- Enterprise campus: LAN, managed Wi-Fi, network access control and branch/campus transformation.
- Network management: NOC services, observability, digital experience monitoring, automation, AIOps, ITSM integration and lifecycle services.
- Network integration and professional services across discovery, design, migration, transformation and steady-state operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Product strategy and ownership. Own the product vision, roadmap, investment priorities and lifecycle from concept and business case through launch, scale, optimization and retirement.
- Market and customer insight. Translate enterprise requirements, industry shifts, technology trends and competitive intelligence into differentiated, commercially viable propositions.
- Service architecture. Define service capabilities, reference architectures, feature requirements, service boundaries, SLAs, operating model and integration requirements in partnership with engineering and operations.
- Commercial management. Build business cases; define pricing, packaging and commercial constructs; manage revenue, margin, adoption, attach rate and portfolio profitability.
- Go-to-market leadership. Develop positioning, sales plays, enablement content, solution collateral, partner propositions and launch plans; drive adoption with sales and marketing teams.
- Customer solution engineering. Lead discovery and consultative workshops, shape complex solutions, support strategic bids/RFPs and present technical and business value to customer executives and architecture teams.
- Operational readiness. Ensure services are scalable, supportable and measurable,
with clear governance, process, tooling, compliance, security, service assurance and continual-improvement mechanisms.
- Ecosystem leadership. Evaluate OEMs, carriers, technology partners and alliances; own technical/commercial assessments and contribute to contracting, onboarding and performance governance.
- Cross-functional execution. Align sales, presales, engineering, operations, finance, marketing, legal, procurement and partners to deliver roadmap and customer outcomes.
- Performance governance. Define KPIs and review product, financial, customer-experience and operational performance; initiate corrective action and roadmap improvements.
Required Experience
- 10-15 years of relevant experience across ISP/telecom networks, enterprise networking, solution engineering, managed services, product management or closely related roles.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in ISP or service-provider network environments, including design, deployment, troubleshooting or operations of production networks.
- Strong customer engagement background, with experience leading technical discovery, solution workshops, architecture discussions, proposals and executive presentations.
- Experience managing or contributing materially to a managed-network product/service portfolio, including roadmap, solution definition, pricing, launch, operations and commercial performance.
- Track record of working across technical and business teams to deliver complex services at enterprise scale.

- Executive communication and influencing skills; able to simplify complex network concepts for business stakeholders without losing technical depth.
- Structured problem solving, data-driven decision-making, ownership mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organisation.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, presentation and written communication skills.
Education & Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification in business or management is desirable.
- Relevant networking certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE or equivalent are desirable; product, ITIL or cloud/security certifications are an advantage.
- Experience with leading network OEMs, service-provider platforms, ServiceNow and network automation/observability tools is preferred.
