Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Development, Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and Data Modeling to work on enterprise banking applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing database solutions, building complex data-processing logic, optimizing performance, and supporting critical production applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions for enterprise banking applications.
- Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL programs, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
- Design and maintain logical and physical data models based on business and application requirements.
- Develop complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, analytical functions, and data transformations.
- Perform SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution-plan analysis.
- Work with application teams to design productive database interfaces and data flows.
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for database and application-related problems.
- Ensure database solutions meet enterprise standards for performance, scalability, security,



data quality, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, application developers, QA, business teams, and offshore/onshore stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of strong Oracle Development experience.
- Excellent hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong experience with Data Modeling, including logical and physical data models.
- Solid knowledge of database design, normalization, relationships, constraints, indexes, and partitioning.
- Experience with complex SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, cursors, and exception handling.
- Experience working with large-volume enterprise data.
- Robust debugging and production support experience.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- Banking / Financial Services domain experience.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, partitioning, performance tuning, or high-volume transaction systems.
- Exposure to ETL/data integration and enterprise data platforms.
- Experience working with distributed/onshore-offshore teams.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting and Git/CI-CD.
