Job Summary

Synergy IT is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our technical team. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for our organization and clients.

The successful candidate will have robust hands-on experience with networking technologies, network security, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.
- Configure and manage network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and hardware/software issues.
- Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Configure and maintain VLANs, routing protocols, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, and IP addressing.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, and access controls.
- Analyze network traffic and performance to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, documentation, and technical procedures.
- Respond to network incidents and service requests within established service-level agreements.
- Work with vendors and service providers to resolve hardware, connectivity, and telecommunications issues.
- Participate in infrastructure projects,



technology upgrades, and disaster-recovery initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT teams and clients when required.
- Follow IT security, change-management, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VPN technologies.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.

Preferred Certifications
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP
- CompTIA Network+
- Fortinet NSE/FCP or equivalent firewall certification
- Microsoft or cloud networking certifications
- Other relevant networking or cybersecurity certifications

Experience with one or more of the following technologies is an asset:

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
