About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong

Senior Network Engineer – Network Operations & Security to manage day-to-day network operations, troubleshoot complex network issues, handle technical escalations, and lead our network engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, including

MikroTik, Ubiquiti UniFi, Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, and Juniper . The candidate must have a solid understanding of routing, switching, network security, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and network troubleshooting . This role requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to train, guide, and manage the technical team.

Key Responsibilities1. Network Operations & Monitoring

Monitor day-to-day network operations and ensure network availability, stability, and performance. Monitor network devices, firewalls, switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, and related systems. Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and configuration issues. Perform proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance. Maintain proper documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting activities. 2. Technical Escalation Management

Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex network and connectivity issues. Take ownership of critical incidents and ensure timely resolution. Troubleshoot issues escalated by Network Engineers and Technical Support teams. Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and third-party technology providers when required. Analyze recurring problems and implement permanent solutions. Participate in emergency and after-hours troubleshooting when required. 3. Routing & Switching

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise routers and switches. Strong understanding of

TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP,



DNS, NAT, STP, trunking, and subnetting . Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as

Failover and NAT is preferred. Configure and troubleshoot inter-VLAN routing and network segmentation. Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Internet connectivity issues. Design and implement reliable network solutions based on business requirements. 4. Network Security & Firewalls

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls. Hands-on experience with

Fortinet, MikroTik, UniFi, Rukus, Cisco, and Juniper firewalls/security platforms . Configure and troubleshoot firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, port forwarding, and security rules. Implement network security best practices. Monitor security-related network events and investigate suspicious traffic or connectivity issues. Maintain secure and controlled access to network infrastructure. 5. Wireless Networking

Configure and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi networks. Hands-on experience with

Ubiquiti UniFi and Aruba wireless solutions . Troubleshoot wireless coverage, roaming, authentication, interference, and performance issues. Optimize wireless networks based on customer requirements and network performance. 6. Team Management & Training

Lead and manage Network Engineers and Technical Support Engineers during daily operations. Assign and monitor technical tasks and escalations. Train junior and mid-level engineers on networking technologies and troubleshooting procedures. Conduct technical knowledge-sharing and training sessions. Review team performance and provide technical guidance and feedback.



Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network operations. Ensure the team follows proper troubleshooting and escalation procedures.

7. Customer & Client Support

Provide technical assistance for critical customer network issues. Communicate with customers regarding technical incidents and resolutions. Participate in technical discussions with customers, vendors, and management. Ensure customer issues are handled professionally and within agreed SLA requirements. Prepare technical reports and incident summaries when required. Required Technical Skills The candidate must have hands-on experience with: MikroTik RouterOS Ubiquiti UniFi Aruba Networking

Strong knowledge of: Routing & Switching TCP/IP VLANs DHCP & DNS NAT Firewall configuration VPN WAN/LAN Network Security Wireless Networking Network Monitoring Troubleshooting and Incident Management

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field . 4–7+ years of relevant network engineering experience . Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience in enterprise networks.

Experience handling technical escalations and critical network incidents.

Experience managing or mentoring a technical/networking team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical issues.

Excellent

English communication skills are mandatory , both written and verbal. Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical customers. Willingness to work in a support environment that may require rotational or after-hours support.

CCNA / CCNP Fortinet
