Key Responsibilities

- Perform and troubleshoot high‑field MRI scans (1.5T, 3T) for diverse clinical protocols.
- Optimize imaging parameters to achieve diagnostic quality while minimizing scan time.
- Train and mentor junior technologists on best practices, safety, and equipment handling.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and coordinate service calls with vendors.
- Verify patient eligibility, screen for contraindications, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists to adjust protocols based on diagnostic needs.
- Manage workflow to meet department throughput targets and schedule efficiency.
- Participate in quality‑control programs and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and radiation safety standards.

Required Qualifications

- 6–8 years of clinical MRI experience in a hospital or imaging center.
- Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT‑MRI) or equivalent certification.




- Strong understanding of MRI physics, safety protocols, and contrast administration.
- Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot major MRI platforms (Siemens, GE, Philips).
