Role: Senior Naval Architect

Department: Naval Architecture / Engineering

Experience: Typically, 2+ years

Reports to: CEO /Team Leader

Salary :- 40K-50K

Key Responsibilities

- Lead naval architecture design and engineering activities for vessels
- Perform stability, hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, resistance, propulsion, and seakeeping analyses.




- Develop and review vessel design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and engineering reports.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IMO regulations, classification society rules, flag-state requirements, and client specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical solutions to engineering and construction issues.
- Review technical submissions and drawings.
- Mentor junior naval architects and provide technical leadership.
- Liaise with stakeholders.
- Contribute to project planning, cost estimates, schedules, and technical risk management.

Typical Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture.
- 2+ years of relevant marine/naval architecture experience.
- Robust knowledge of ship design, stability, hydrodynamics, and marine regulations.
- Experience with software such as NAPA, Orca3D, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with classification societies such as DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s Register, or Bureau Veritas.
- Strong technical reporting, communication, and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and engineering deliverables.
