Job Title: Merchandiser

Experience

3–6 years in apparel merchandising, production, sourcing, or vendor management.

Role Overveiw

The Production Merchandiser will be responsible for managing end-to-end production execution, ensuring timely deliveries, quality compliance, and smooth coordination between vendors, factories, sourcing, design, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the production lifecycle from order placement to final dispatch.
- Create and track T&A; calendars to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate with vendors for fabric, trims, production, washing, finishing, and dispatch.
- Monitor production status and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.
- Ensure bulk production follows approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate with design, technical, sourcing, and warehouse teams for smooth execution.
- Track fabric and trim readiness before production starts.
- Support costing discussions and vendor negotiations to maintain target margins.
- Maintain production trackers, order status reports, and vendor performance records.

Required Skills





- Solid understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, washes, garment construction, and quality standards.
- Experience handling vendors and factory coordination.
- Good proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
