About Our Client Our client is a leading technology-driven financial services organization that is redefining how consumers access digital financial products. Operating at scale, the company has built a strong presence across lending, payments, investments, and other consumer financial solutions, supported by a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and high performance.
Reporting into the Group HR leadership team, the incumbent will be responsible for driving both compensation strategy and execution across the organization.
Key responsibilities include
- Designing and evolving compensation frameworks aligned with business and talent objectives.
- Managing salary structures, incentive plans, bonus programs, and equity/ESOP frameworks.
- Conducting market benchmarking, compensation surveys, and competitive pay analysis.
- Supporting annual and mid-year compensation review cycles, including increments, promotions, and variable payouts.
- Partnering with Talent Acquisition teams on compensation fitments and offer structuring.
- Driving pay governance, compensation analytics, and internal equity initiatives.
- Evaluating and enhancing total rewards programs to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Building compensation insights and presenting recommendations to HR and business leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable compensation, taxation, and governance requirements.
- Supporting internal talent movements and compensation transitions across teams and business units.
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for someone who has:
- MBA/PGDM from a premier institute.
- 5+ years of post-MBA experience in Compensation & Benefits, Rewards, or Total Rewards.
- Strong exposure to compensation design and administration within consumer internet, fintech, financial services, NBFC, asset management, or other high-growth organizations.
- Hands-on experience managing ESOPs or long-term incentive programs is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in market benchmarking, salary structuring, and compensation analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working extensively with data.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex compensation concepts effectively.
