Support the end-to-end project financing lifecycle for greenfield, brownfield, acquisition, expansion and refinancing projects across Adani Group businesses. The role involves financial modelling, lender coordination, debt syndication support, documentation review, financial closure management, loan drawdowns, covenant compliance and stakeholder management to ensure timely availability of funds and optimal capital structure.

Educational Qualification:

CA / MBA (Finance) / ICWA / Inter CA / CFA or equivalent in Financial Management.

Experience: 12-18 years of project finance experience and at least 3-5 successful financial closures across greenfield or expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Evaluation & Financial Analysis

- Review project business plans, DPRs, capex estimates and funding requirements.
- Analyze project viability, profitability, DSCR, IRR, Project IRR, Equity IRR and key risk indicators.
- Develop and maintain detailed project financial models.
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis for project risks.
- Support project appraisal presentations for management and lenders.
- Evaluate financing alternatives and recommend optimal debt-equity structures.

2. Debt Raising & Financial Closure

- Prepare lender presentations, teasers and information memorandums.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions and credit funds.
- Assist in debt syndication and lender onboarding activities.
- Support negotiations on financing terms and commercial conditions.
- Track sanction approvals and financial closure milestones.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of sanction conditions.

3. Financial Modelling

- Build project finance models from scratch.
- Update base case and lender models.
- Incorporate debt sizing, drawdowns, moratoriums and repayment schedules.




- Validate assumptions received from business and consultants.
- Support refinancing and restructuring analysis.

4. Due Diligence & Lender Coordination

- Coordinate with lenders, consultants, technical advisors and legal teams.
- Manage TEV, legal, insurance, environmental and traffic studies.
- Track diligence observations and closures.
- Facilitate lender site visits and management meetings.

5. Documentation & Security Creation

- Review sanction letters and term sheets.
- Coordinate execution of facility agreements and security documents.
- Work with legal counsel on financing documentation.
- Ensure timely security creation and charge registration.
- Support satisfaction of precedent conditions.

6. Loan Disbursement & Drawdown Management

- Coordinate drawdown requests with lenders.
- Verify utilization certificates and supporting documents.
- Track debt utilization against approved project costs.
- Ensure timely fund availability for project execution.

7. Covenant Monitoring & Compliance

- Monitor financial and non-financial covenants.
- Track DSRA, escrow, security cover and reporting obligations.
- Submit periodic information to lenders.
- Maintain covenant compliance dashboards.

8. Refinancing & Capital Structure Optimization

- Monitor interest rate trends and refinancing opportunities.
- Prepare refinancing business cases.
- Support bond issuance, NCDs, ECBs and structured financing transactions.
- Evaluate opportunities to reduce financing costs.

9. MIS & Reporting

- Maintain project financing MIS and debt trackers.
- Prepare management updates for CFO, CEO and Treasury Head.
- Track debt pipeline, closure status and lender exposure.
- Support board and committee presentations.
