5+ YearsPrimary Responsibilities A Senior Interior Designer is responsible for producing high-quality project design deliverables across all phases of a project including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. The designer will lead the team, manage design coordination, and oversee site execution to ensure timely and quality project delivery. They report to the Principal Architect/Design Lead and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles:

- Lead interior design projects from concept through completion, specifically in the retail, hospitality, residential sectors.

- Undertake complete design development of projects including spatial planning, concept generation, and execution.

- Determine the client’s goals, requirements, and brand vision to align the design accordingly.

- Interpret and translate customer needs into layout plans, mood boards, and schematic drawings.

- Prepare full sets of working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, electrical, plumbing, partition layouts, and detailed furniture drawings.

- Guide and manage a team of junior designers and coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors.

- Oversee and monitor site execution to ensure alignment with approved drawings and resolve onsite issues.

- Ensure that material selection, furniture procurement, and finishes are as per design standards and budget.





- Conduct site visits for quality checks, design compliance, and timely progress monitoring.

- Review and approve material boards and coordinate sourcing with vendors and suppliers.

- Manage project timelines, budget allocations, and ensure minimal wastage.

- Prepare and participate in client presentations, design reviews, and status updates.

- Research and implement the latest design trends, sustainable practices, and innovations in material usage.

- Ensure adherence to project schedules and flag any deviations or delays proactively.

- Prepare bill of quantities, measurement sheet, accurate specifications.

- Manage project costs and billing cycles.

- Prepare site reports.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or a related field.

- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience with a strong portfolio in retail, residential or hospitality projects.

- Must have independently handled at least 2-3 complete project cycles from concept to handover.

- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and presentation tools.

- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

- Capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines, and handling client interactions professionally.

- Excellent eye for detail, innovation, and spatial design.
