Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Automation Developer (Ansible Specialist)

About the Role We are looking for a Senior Ansible Specialist to lead our Infrastructure Automation initiatives. In this role, your primary focus will be driving Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform across enterprise environments—building scalable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions, automating provisioning, and modernizing system administration. If you have 8+ years of hands-on experience in creating complex Ansible playbooks, roles, and enterprise workflows, this role offers the opportunity to work on secure, highperforming healthcare and patient-data systems.

Responsibilities

- Core Ansible Development: Design, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Ansible playbooks, custom roles, dynamic inventories, and AWX/Tower workflows to achieve full infrastructure configuration management.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect end-to-end provisioning pipelines combining Ansible and Terraform across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Cross-Platform Scripting: Automate server provisioning, OS patching, compliance enforcement, and system monitoring using PowerShell (Windows), Bash (Linux), and Python.
- Enterprise Integrations: Connect Ansible automation workflows with enterprise IT platforms including ServiceNow, Jira, and REST APIs for seamless request fulfillment and CMDB updates.
- Troubleshooting & RCA:



Diagnose and resolve complex Ansible execution failures, pipeline bottlenecks, and production incidents through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- CI/CD & Code Governance: Enforce Git version control standards, automated testing frameworks (e.g., Molecule), and continuous integration pipelines for all automation repositories.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience: 8 to 14 years of core experience in infrastructure automation, with a strong focus on Ansible.

Required Skills

- Primary Technical Focus (Mandatory):
- Ansible Specialist: Deep hands-on mastery of Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Tower/AWX, YAML, energetic inventory management, and custom Ansible module development.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in PowerShell and Linux Bash Shell for OS-level administrative automation. Solid working knowledge of Python for REST API integration and data parsing.
- Platforms & Tooling: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git (GitHub/GitLab), YAML/JSON, and VMware Aria Suite (vRA, vRO).
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong proactive communication, technical writing, and ability to manage deadlinedriven deliverables independently.

Preferred Skills

- Preferred Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation (Highly Preferred) VMware Certified Professional / Advanced Professional (VCP / VCAP)
