Senior Executive - Finance Controllership -European Accounting -Gurugram 1+ Years

We are looking for a CA-qualified finance professional with 1+ years of experience in accounting and finance controllership. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to IFRS, European accounting principles, financial reporting, statutory compliance, VAT, GL reconciliations and finalization of accounts. The role also involves client management, accounting review, problem-solving and leading a small team of 2–3 members.

Responsibilities

1. Managing end-to-end accounting activities through finalization of accounts.
2. Ensuring adherence to client accounting policies, controls and reporting requirements.
3. Reviewing MIS reports, balance sheet schedules and GL reconciliations.
4. Handling VAT compliance, statutory reporting and financial deliverables.
5. Monitoring cash flow, fund movements and banking transactions.
6. Identifying and resolving accounting, compliance and reporting issues.
7. Coordinating with clients, banks, auditors and internal stakeholders.
8. Supporting billing, collections and recovery processes.
9. Leading a team of 2–3 members and monitoring daily deliverables.
10. Planning team activities and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

Requirements
1. CA qualification is mandatory.
2. 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance controllership or financial reporting.
3. Strong knowledge of IFRS, European accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
4. Hands-on experience in GL reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, month-end closing and finalization of accounts.
5.



Exposure to VAT compliance and statutory reporting.
6. Practical knowledge of accounting controls, compliance and issue resolution.
7. Experience in client management and coordination with auditors, banks and internal stakeholders.
8. Experience in leading or reviewing the work of a small team.
9. Strong communication, analytical and review skills.
10. Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
