Senior Full Stack Engineer:

- 6–9 years of qualified software engineering experience, including 6+ years building/operating backend systems in Python at scale.

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will own features and services end to end — from frontend architecture to scalable backend services and their production operation. You will design systems at the module and service level, make performance, scalability and security decisions,



carry on-call and production ownership, mentor engineers, and help shape technical direction within your team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Own features and services end to end, from design through production operation
- Design systems at the module and service level: frontend feature modules, routing and reusable component library/design system; backend multi-service workflows, tool layer and retrieval
- Lead the team's testing strategy: strong component tests + Playwright E2E in CI, reducing flakiness
- Make performance decisions: code-splitting, rendering optimization, bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals; backend concurrency limits, queueing/backpressure and benchmarking
- Make scalability decisions for workflow reliability: idempotency, compensation, isolation, multi-tenant readiness, cost/latency controls
- Make security decisions: AuthN/AuthZ (JWT/OAuth/service-to-service), secrets, auditing and access controls
- Hold on-call and production ownership: SLOs, incident playbooks, postmortems, observability and capacity planning
- Mentor engineers and drive review discipline and accessibility standards
- Help shape technical direction within the team

MUST-HAVE:

Frontend:

- Strong production experience with React + TypeScript (hooks, routing, React architecture)
- Tailwind CSS at scale — consistent patterns and reusable UI primitives
- Testing with React Testing Library, Jest/Vitest and Playwright E2E, integrated in CI
- State and caching with React Query/SWR and Zustand/Redux Toolkit
- Accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Refactoring and frontend architecture ownership (feature modules, component library, design system)
- Testing leadership: CI integration and flaky test debugging
- Performance profiling and optimization: code splitting, bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse

Backend / Platform:

- Strong Python backend ownership(FastAPI preferred) and production API design: versioning, pagination, error contracts
- Streaming via SSE/WebSocket
- SQL/PostgreSQL:



data modeling, schema design, indexing and query optimization; Redis caching
- Concurrency: asyncio, thread pools, process pools and their performance tradeoffs
- Distributed systems fundamentals: queues/workers (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS), retries, backoff, DLQ, rate limiting, backpressure, circuit breaker
- Docker, deployment/operations basics and CI/CD
- 6+ years building/operating backend systems in Python at scale
- Expert async/concurrency/parallelism and distributed systems depth
- Workflow/state machine orchestration, idempotency and compensation patterns
- AuthN/AuthZ design (OAuth2, JWT, service-to-service auth),secrets management and security fundamentals for production systems
- Observability: logs, metrics, tracing(OpenTelemetry/Datadog/Prometheus); SLO/SLI; load/performance testing
- Proven delivery of AI-backed systems in production (agents/RAG/tooling)

Leadership & collaboration:

- Mentors engineers and raises the team's engineering bar
- Operational leadership: on-call, incident management and postmortems
- Sound judgement on performance, scalability and security tradeoffs
- Helps shape technical direction within the team; collaborates closely with design and product
