Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Control Panel Quality

Department: Panel Quality Control (RQC)

Location: Phaltan Plant

Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Industry Preference: AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) Panels & Terminal Box Panel Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle incoming material inspection and quality assurance activities for Electrical bought-out components and supplier parts.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and process requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, production, and engineering teams for quality improvements.
- Maintain and monitor rejection trends, Electrical assembly performance, and quality documentation.
- Lead containment actions for non-conforming materials and ensure timely closure.
- Work on product audits, process validations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective implementation of quality systems and adherence to plant quality procedures.
- Generate and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and MIS through SAP.




- Support new product development and localization activities from the quality perspective.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of AMF Control panel & Terminal box manufacturing processes.
- Good communication skills as involve with supplier for analysis inhouse & customer defects
- Technical sound in electrical connections
- Valuable understanding of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, and VPPAP.
- Knowledge of Panel components and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with customer , internal teams and suppliers.

Educational Qualification:

- BE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in the AMF panel , Terminal Box manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Electrical quality management and incoming inspection activities is preferred.
